The Soundcheck mobile app is free to install. Sign in with the same account you use on the web: email + password on any platform; Google on iOS and Android; Apple on iOS native only (no Apple button on Android native); web sign-in includes Google and Apple. No separate signup.

iOS

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for Soundcheck (by Soundcheck Live).
  3. Tap Get → Install.
  4. Open the app once installation finishes.
Requires a recent version of iOS. If the App Store won’t let you install, update iOS from Settings → General → Software Update.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for Soundcheck (by Soundcheck Live).
  3. Tap Install.
  4. Open the app from your launcher or the Play Store install screen.
Requires a recent version of Android. If Play won’t let you install, update Android from Settings → System → Software update.

First launch

When you open the app for the first time, you’ll see the sign-in screen.

Sign in

Use the same account as the web app. iOS: email + password, Google, or Apple. Android: email + password or Google (no Apple sign-in on native Android). New here? Tap Create account instead.

Choose your organization

If you belong to multiple organizations, pick which one to open first. You can switch later from the profile menu.

Grant permissions

The app will ask for a few permissions over time. See the next section for what each one is for.

You can change any of these later in your device’s system settings → Soundcheck.

Trouble signing in

Check your spam folder for the verification message from Soundcheck. Add notifications@soundcheck.live to your contacts so product mail isn’t filtered. If you still don’t see it, request a new code from the sign-in screen.
Google (iOS and Android): Confirm you’re signed in to the right Google account on the device. Apple (iOS only): Confirm you’re signed in to the right Apple ID. Android native does not offer Apple sign-in. If you previously signed up with email, you may need to sign in with email first and then link Google or Apple from your profile.
Open the profile menu → Switch organization. If the organization you expect isn’t listed, ask an owner to confirm your membership and re-send the invitation.

Updating the app

App updates ship through the App Store and Google Play. Enable automatic updates on your device so you stay current. Older versions may stop receiving certain push notifications when the backend evolves.
