Soundcheck is event crew management software for production companies, AV crews, and entertainment agencies that staff live events from their own roster. You staff each gig by position, see who is available, confirm who accepted, and pay crew from the same record. Tour managers and bandleaders use the same workflow to rotate players and crew per date.

What it does

  • Roster and positions. Keep people in one roster and define positions such as A1, lighting tech, stage manager, and stagehand.
  • Staff by position. Add seats, invite people, and send invitations together from Manage Team. Track pending, accepted, and declined responses in Mailbox.
  • Call lists. Reuse a primary-plus-backup lineup with call lists, on plans that include them.
  • Availability. Check the crew calendar and send availability requests where enabled. An availability answer is not acceptance.
  • Crew offers and open shifts. Post open work and track responses where crew offers are enabled. See shifts for multi-day coverage.
  • Conflict warnings. Recorded overlaps appear as warnings for a scheduler to review. They are not a universal hard block.
  • Pay. Pay accepted crew from the gig through gig payments. ACH and card need bank verification; cash and other outside payments can be marked paid on the gig.

On mobile

Crew answer invitations, crew offers, and availability checks, set availability hours, check call times and the run of show, and get push notifications in the iOS and Android apps. See Mobile overview and push notifications.

Who it is not for

  • Hourly workforce scheduling that needs time clocks, GPS check-in, or payroll exports
  • One-off public hiring with no roster
