# Run of show software

> Soundcheck's run of show lives on the gig with the crew, venue, and files: sections and cues, multi-day rundowns, templates, autosave, and PDF export.

Soundcheck includes **run of show software** for production companies, AV crews, and entertainment agencies. The run of show lives on the gig, next to the crew, venue details, and files, so the people working the show read the same plan.

It is built for planning and sharing the show flow. It is not a live show-calling timer.

## What it does

* **Sections and cues.** Group songs, announcements, breaks, and notes into named sections. Each item can carry timing, notes, and attachments.
* **Multi-day gigs.** Day chips show one day at a time; PDF export groups sections under day headings.
* **Bulk edits.** Shift times, duplicate, move, or delete several items at once.
* **Autosave and conflict handling.** Edits save as you go. If someone else changed the run of show, Soundcheck offers to merge your edits.
* **Templates.** Save the shape of a night you repeat and apply it to a new gig.
* **Export.** Download the run of show as a PDF, alongside day sheets and advance packets from the gig export hub.
* **Mobile.** Crew can read the run of show in the iOS and Android apps.

<Info>
  Run of Show is rolling out by organization. Where it is not enabled yet, a gig has the simpler day-of timeline. See [Run of Show](/features/gigs/run-of-show).

## Who it is for

Production companies and AV crews that need the show flow tied to staffing and venue logistics; entertainment agencies running repeat formats such as weddings and corporate dinners; and bandleaders building set order with the band.

## Who it is not for

Show callers who need synced countdown timers, operator views, or a teleprompter during the show. Use a dedicated show-calling tool for that and keep the plan in Soundcheck.
