# Gigs, gig detail, and @-mentions in ChatGPT

> Open your upcoming gigs from the ChatGPT sidebar, see one gig in detail, and @-mention a gig in the composer.

Once Soundcheck is connected to ChatGPT ([how to connect](/integrations/mcp-chatgpt)), ChatGPT gets these Soundcheck features beyond chat.

## Gigs

**Gigs** lists your upcoming gigs, nearest first, in your active organization.

* Open it from the ChatGPT sidebar, or as a tab inside a conversation.
* Each gig shows its date, start time in the gig's timezone, venue, and how many crew seats are filled.
* Select a gig to open its detail in the same view. **‹ Gigs** takes you back to the list.
* In the detail, **Ask about this gig** starts a question about that gig in the chat, and **Open in Soundcheck** opens the gig in the web app.
* You can also ask "Open my gigs" in any chat. Clients without interactive views get the same list as text.
* A link to `/gigs/{gig id}` inside the Gigs app opens that gig directly.

In a chat, Gigs shows your five nearest gigs. **Show all** or **Expand** opens the full list fullscreen. Plan Review, Staffing Draft, and the gig detail can also be expanded to fullscreen.

## Gig detail

Ask about one gig ("Show me Friday's gig") or select it in Gigs to see:

* Status, date, and time in the gig's timezone.
* Venue, address, and load-in and parking notes.
* The client contact and the gig's leads.
* Crew, with each person's position and where their offer stands (accepted, awaiting reply, not sent, declined).
* The run of show, or the schedule if your organization has not moved to Run of Show.
* Money (client invoices, expenses, payouts owed, unpaid lines, payment terms), only if you have finance access on the gig. Without it, the detail has no money section and Soundcheck never reads the gig's finances.

While a gig is open, ChatGPT knows which gig you are looking at, so you can ask follow-up questions without naming it.

## @-mention a gig

On ChatGPT desktop, type `@Soundcheck` in the composer, then part of a gig's name, venue, or date. Pick a gig to attach a short summary of it to your message, then ask, for example, "Who is on the crew for this?" Mentions search your upcoming gigs. They are not available on ChatGPT web or mobile yet.

## Plugin setup

The Soundcheck plugin runs a short setup after you install it. It checks your sign-in, names the organization Soundcheck will use, opens Gigs, and shows how @-mentions work. Setup never sends messages or changes gigs.

Gigs, the gig detail, and mentions are read-only. Anything that messages people or changes a gig still goes through the normal [confirmation step](/integrations/mcp-server).
