# Rounds

> A Home-page digest of every open item across your org's gigs, bucketed by urgency — what needs action today, this week, and what's worth watching.

**Rounds** is Soundcheck doing a sweep of your whole operation, the way a stage manager walks the venue before doors. It gathers every [open item](/features/gigs/open-items) across all of your gigs — the unanswered invites, the unpaid payouts, the unsigned contracts, the overdue tasks — and lays them out on your Home page as one prioritized list of what needs you.

## How it's organized

Items land in three urgency buckets:

| Bucket                 | What goes in it                                                                                      |

| **Needs action today** | Money owed on delivered shows, overdue tasks, and anything on a gig happening within the next 3 days |
| **This week**          | Items on gigs happening within the next 7 days                                                       |
| **Watching**           | Everything further out — visible, not urgent yet                                                     |

Each line names the gig and the problem in plain language ("Mohawk Rooftop Series Night 3 — 7 crew payouts unpaid — \$2,325"), carries a category tag — **Money**, **Paper**, **Staffing**, **Compliance**, or **Tasks** — and a **View** link that lands you directly on the gig tab where you fix it.

Within a bucket, the soonest gig floats to the top. As you resolve things — invites answered, payouts sent, contracts signed — items disappear on their own; there is nothing to dismiss or tidy.

## Who sees it

Rounds is for the people running the operation: it appears on Home for owners and admins. Members see their own Home, without the org-wide digest.

## Why it's a core part of Soundcheck

Executing a live event means keeping dozens of threads from slipping — across staffing, paperwork, money, and logistics — where any one dropped thread can hurt the show. Rounds exists because that vigilance shouldn't live in someone's head or a 6 AM spreadsheet ritual. Give Soundcheck your event data, and knowing what's about to slip becomes the platform's job.
